I am Renu Sharma, a Ph.D. student in Marketing at the University of Houston’s Bauer College of Business, with a passion for leveraging data-driven insights to understand sales strategy and salesforce management. My research interests are in the domain of sales strategy, with a focus on salesforce job design, compensation, and gender disparities in sales careers. I specialize in using quantitative and empirical methods to answer substantive questions related to sales careers and organizational decision-making, generating actionable insights that bridge theory and practice.

My dissertation work was recognized as the runner-up for the 2026 Sales SIG Doctoral Dissertation Proposal Award.
